This time of year, we pause, reflect, and acknowledge all of the wonderful things for which we have to be thankful.
Though this past year has been a challenging year for All For Family, with several amazing volunteers leaving us for health and personal reasons, and temporary staff who found they were unable to commit as much as they had originally planned, All For Family still has a lot to be thankful for.
As you hopefully know, we, at All For Family, recently celebrated our 6th year anniversary. We were also recently awarded a $30,000 grant from Jefferson Foundation, for which we are very grateful. This amount will cover at least 1/3 of our budget for this next year to help ensure continued supervised family visit services for 2025. We are immensely grateful for our donors, sponsors, and fundraising support that will help us cover the rest of our budget needs for 2025.
This past year, we were also blessed with a $5,000 grant from the Hausstette Foundation, which was also a tremendous blessing.
In addition, we were recently sponsored by Sara, with MyFestus.com, to help us with our volunteer outreach efforts. The amazing article she recently released about All For Family can be found at: https://www.myfestus.com/All-For-Family/.
This past year, thanks to our fabulous volunteer visit supervisors, our amazing therapist, board members, and the most wonderful office manager we could ever ask for, All For Family served 41 clients for supervised family visits. This is 41 individuals who were able to spend valuable, quality time with their loved ones which they may have otherwise not been able to see if not for the services All For Family provides, courtesy of the amazing support we have received this past year.
Even though we are filled with immense gratitude for all of the reasons we described above, we are closing out this year a bit saddened and brokenhearted. Our reason for this is simple: We were not able to serve as many families as we had hoped this year.
This is not because the need for supervised family visits has decreased, but rather because the workers are few. So, with Giving Tuesday approaching this next Tuesday, on December 3rd, we have but one donation request: The donation of your time.
If you can spare just 2 hours a week, or even just 2 hours a month to help supervise a family visit for a family in need, we need you. Please email us at info@allforfamily.net, or call us at 636-345-5222 to learn more about how you can help.
In the meantime, we sincerely hope that you and your family have a very blessed and Happy Thanksgiving.
